AHIS (UK & Ireland) Conference 2007 |
PROGRAMME: 26 July 2007Join us in Edinburgh for our conference and participative workshop. The speakers in the morning will bring you up to speed with developments in such diverse areas as Library 2.0, open access initiatives and animal welfare and ethics. In the afternoon there is an opportunity to learn about and use key products available to the animal health information community. |
10:00 Registration with Coffee 10:25 Welcome 10:30 John MacColl Head of Digital Library at Edinburgh University Library will demystify Library 2.0. 11:15 Andy Harris head of Systems Strategy at the Wellcome Library will speak about PubMed Central UK and open access developments |
12:00 Dorothy McKeegan UFAW lecturer in animal welfare at Glasgow University will update us on changes in animal welfare and ethics. |
